Avivit - London

We were approached by Anna at the beginning of January, her very good friend really needed our help, she's suffering from a terminal condition.  She's mum to 2 very young boys and her mum who's in the 70's is helping her raise them, which is very difficult for all of them.

We came up with the a weekend break at Centre Parcs in Woburn, Bedfordshire. The family together with Anna & her little boy had a fabulous weekend away, the kids loved the activity club and the pools, whilst Anna, Avivit & mum spent some quality time together.

Since returning Avivit's condition has detoriated and she is no longer receiving any treatment, the memories made at the their weekend in Centre Parcs are priceless, especially for her 2 boys.

Carol approached the Trust in January earlier this year.   Carol is sadly suffering from a terminal condition and wanted to spend a few days away with her husband.  They just wanted a bit of normality, to spend some quality time together.  They chose Valentines Day to book their time away.

Diana - Lapland UK

Diana

We were approached by Diana by in October 2018, she's a young mum to two very young children, she really wanted to make Christmas as special as possible for them.  Her dream to go to Lapland UK, we organised everything for Diana, her husband & children to visit Lapland UK on the Friday before Christmas, the children stuffed toys, made gingerbread men, went ice skating and of course met the Big Man himself, Father Christmas.
Diana was so grateful for the opportunity to make special memories with her family and in her words will be "forever grateful".

Emily - Sussex

We were approached by Emily's family very close to Christmas 2018, the family know this is probably Emily's last Christmas with her beloved little boy, so wanted it to make it as special as possible.  We approached Lapland UK, although they were SOLD OUT, they helped to move things around and Emily & her little lads trip was all booked

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to contact you; you organised and funded our trip (Emily, her five year old son and me and my wife - Emily’s mum and dad) to Lapland UK on the 18th. Since then Emily has been quite unwell, so it’s not been easy to find the five minutes to write this message, but I cannot wait another moment to thank you; as (especially and most importantly) Emily and her son had the most magical day - thanks to your support.

XXXxx could not believe that he had met and spent some time with the real Father Christmas and has reminded us of this every day since, with the addition of ‘Wow, Wow. Wow!' just to emphasise the point.

It is very difficult to put into words what that day has done for one little boy and his mum- and the wonderful memories it contained. All I can you is ’Thank you’ from us all - it’s seems so inadequate, but I promise you it is most heartfelt. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind gesture. We had an amazing time in London. It was greatly appreciated after having radiotherapy to my brain just before it. My son loved it as it was his first time to London. This is a picture of my son and niece at the ice bar.
